Alocasia sanderiana 'Nobilis' Pink Variegated is one of the most striking collector Alocasias, known for its elongated leaves and unique pink marbling, sectoral variegation, and rose-toned new growth. Because of its variegation, it requires stable conditions, higher humidity, and careful watering.
Provide bright, indirect light. East-facing windows are ideal; south or west windows should be filtered with a sheer curtain. Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the pink variegated tissue. Too little light may reduce variegation and slow growth.
Water when the top of soil is dry. Keep the soil evenly moist, but never wet. Pink-variegated forms are particularly sensitive to overwatering and root stress. During active growth, watering is often needed every 5–10 days, depending on conditions.
